Bountiful Utah Temple Wedding Photography
I love it when we see and shoot a bride's natural reaction in one of those critical wedding moments. Ally & Chase were finally married after long (long for Utah anyway) engagement of 7 months. They chose to get married in the Bountiful Temple in Bountiful, Utah. It is a temple for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (also known as a Mormon Temple.)
One thing about weddings in LDS temples, photographers aren't allowed during the ceremony (or sealing as called in the church). Also, only people who have already been through the temple, after having been found worthy by a leader in the church and old enough to understand the commitments they are making, can go to a sealing in a temple. With all that said, many times a bride and groom are just greeting parts of their families after being sealed (often younger siblings, friends, or other family members who are not a part of the church) when they walk out of the temple. This was one of those times. They were now sealed together, as the temple tells them, not only for this earth life, but for eternity. Now it's time to greet their family and friends who they haven't seen yet. The look on Ally's face is beyond priceless. She was feeling more than just happiness. It's a look of, "Finally, I'm married to this amazing man forever and I want to tell the world!" I would dare say that there was not a happier girl on the planet just then. 1/250; f/7.1; ISO 400; 35.0 mm.
