More often than not, we are Logan, Utah wedding photographers, but we are willing to travel. This couple wanted to go to Bear Lake, which is only around an hour drive from Logan. Not that this picture looks like a lake, but this is the mountainous view surrounding the lake.
I've mentioned choosing your clothing for your session in past information. Let's continue with that topic.
One thing I like about this couple's choice of clothing, for this portion of the session, is that it is bright and vibrant. The bike is bright and vibrant too. It keeps your eyes on the couple. This picture was taken in early spring, so the trees hadn't even gotten their leaves. The background wasn't going to be as bright, which makes their choice of colorful clothing a good contrast to the mostly brown background. As you're choosing your clothing, keep that in mind. If you're going to have a very green, summery location, don't wear a color that will clash. But you also don't want to wear colors that will wash you out against the background. Please, don't wear matching clothing that is all the same color (think everyone in white shirts!)
Beyond the colors, this couple chose clothing that fit their personalities. They are a more laid back couple. They also had another outfit that was dressier, but it still wasn't super dressy. Think about your personality and style. You want to be comfortable during your engagement session, so choose things that fit well, and you will feel good wearing in front of the camera.Location: Bear Lake Utah.
